importRTF function is returning 8

I can not figure out how to successfully use the importRTF function in DOORS v9.2.0.5. I have followed the example given by Roger on this thread https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=14216229&#14216229
I am using this script in batch mode and passing in two parameters modPath, which is the full path to the module and aModule, is the name of the module.
Here is my script:

{

int result = importRTF(modIn, m, false, false)

The importRTF method returns an integer value of 8. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
